ETMD
The Education Technology & Material Development (ETMD) department corresponds to the Educational Technology and Curriculum/Material Development functions described in the standard DIET structure under NCTE norms. It is concerned with developing and disseminating low-cost teaching-learning materials (TLM), audio-visual aids, and the use of educational technology — including computers and digital resources — in classroom teaching.
Typical activities of this department include conducting workshops on preparing teaching aids, maintaining audio-visual and computer laboratory resources, and training teachers in the effective use of educational technology, in support of both the pre-service D.El.Ed. programme and in-service teacher training.
கல்வித் தொழில்நுட்பவியல் மற்றும் பொருள் மேம்பாடு (ETMD) துறையானது, NCTE விதிமுறைகளின் கீழ் நிலையான DIET அமைப்பில் விவரிக்கப்படும் கல்வித் தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் பாடத்திட்டப் பொருள் மேம்பாடு ஆகிய செயல்பாடுகளுக்கு இணையானதாகும். குறைந்த செலவிலான கற்பித்தல்-கற்றல் பொருட்களை (TLM), ஒளி-ஒலிச் சாதனங்களை உருவாக்குதல் மற்றும் பரப்புதல், வகுப்பறை கற்பித்தலில் கணினிகள் மற்றும் டிஜிட்டல் வளங்கள் உள்ளிட்ட கல்வித் தொழில்நுட்பத்தைப் பயன்படுத்துதல் ஆகியவற்றில் இத்துறை ஈடுபடுகிறது.
கற்பித்தல் உபகரணங்களைத் தயாரிப்பது குறித்த பயிலரங்குகள் நடத்துதல், ஒளி-ஒலி மற்றும் கணினி ஆய்வக வளங்களைப் பராமரித்தல், பணிமுன் D.El.Ed. படிப்பு மற்றும் பணியிலுள்ள ஆசிரியர் பயிற்சி இரண்டிற்கும் ஆதரவாக கல்வித் தொழில்நுட்பத்தை திறம்படப் பயன்படுத்துவது குறித்து ஆசிரியர்களுக்குப் பயிற்சி அளித்தல் ஆகியவை இத்துறையின் பொதுவான செயல்பாடுகளாகும்.
